- Castle Terrace Restaurant (fine dining)
- Timberyard (fine dining)
- The blue blazer – Built in 1867, Edinburgh’s finest local bar is still a must visit in Edinburgh.
- The Hanging Bat – Beer lover’s pub with craft ales, micro brews and bat-shaped taps, also serving ribs and hot dogs.
- Love Crumbs – Quirky cafe with mismatched tableware, artisan coffee and a wooden dresser full of handmade cakes.)
- Kanpai Sushi – Amazing sushi- crowned Edinburgh’s #1 sushi place.
- The Red Squirrel – Nice pub food and Scottish food
Seafood
- Mussel Inn Seafood Restaurant – Great seafood close to Princess Street
- Fishers In The City – Little bit more expensive but very good!
- White Horse Oyster & Seafood Bar – Sparse, chic eatery offering British seafood & shellfish alongside small plates, wine & cocktails.
Steak
- Kylo Restaurant – Gourmet steak to die for.
- Wildfire – Less expensive but still good steak.
- Hawksmoor – Our personal favourite!
Vegetarian
- Henderson’s Vegan Restaurant – Brilliant vegan restaurant.
- David Bann – Vegan and vegetarian food from the Mediterranean to the Pacific, via India and Thailand.
Burger
- Bread Meats Bread – Just around the corner and seriously delicious.
- Gourmet Burger Kitchen – Love it – just love it.
